- Animal Science Series Reborn-
William Andrew is proud to announce the rebirth of the Noyes Series in Animal Behavior, Ecology, Conservation and Management. This is a series of professional and reference books devoted to the better understanding of animal behavior, ecology, conservation, and management. The series was originally conceived by George Narita of Noyes Publications in the early 1980s, and quickly became the preferred resource of animal behaviorists, conservationists, and ecologists worldwide.
Our first effort in reviving the series is a complete revision of the seminal "Tigers of the World (1989) ". Tigers of the World, 2nd Edition will be a comprehensive review of the current state of the science and management of tigers in the wild and captivity. Original editor Ronald Tilson has returned, and along with Phillip Nyhus, they have collected the world's foremost experts to explore tiger biology, ecology, conservation, management, and the science and technology that make this possible. This book is scheduled to be published in May 2008.
